Bob Dylan has a concert in Bloomington tonight.  I’m sure he’ll miss me not being there.  at the last concert I staked out the tour buses hours before the show.

Elvis Costello opened.  I saw him talking on his cell.  I yelled “DECLAN McMANUS” and shortly after I had a new security guard friend who did not have a sense of humor when Bob Dylan arrived.

after the concert we followed his tour bus out of Bloomington in hopes he would pull over and order a grand slam from Denny’s.  he didn’t, so I passed him, Liz flashed him, and we went to the post-party (re-enactment above).
